Trick or Treat With Ag In The Classroom

We spent our Halloween with 400 students at Clinton Elementary School. This was our second year to participate in the school's annual harvest day program, which brings in area farmers, FFA members and agriculture program educators to teach students about farming and agriculture science. During our session we talked to students about the seven essentials of plant growth and development by letting them see actual examples of how we grow plants on our farm. The session ended with a fun coloring activity.
